Time goes by and the cooking never stops.

| Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle Pie from Vegan Pie in the Sky. |
 |
| Tempeh Meatloaf and Golden Gravy from the Real Food Daily cookbook. |
 |
| Chocolate Peanut Butter Pillows from Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar. |
 |
| One batch of so, so many. |
There has been no shortage of adventuring, either.
 |
| Low-fuss camping in Big Sur. |
 |
| First sandwich break of a three-day cycling trip along the California coast. |
 |
| Expert packing of a weekend supply of PB&J sandwiches, made from an entire loaf of sprouted-grain bread. |
Here's to more time spent doing the things we love with the people we love.
Everything looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! I used to intern at a hostel in Cambria, it was right between Big Sur and SLO - it's such a beautiful place, I'm guessing you guys biked along Hwy 1? :D It's SO windy along the beaches, but it looks like you two had a great time.
ReplyDeleteOh and all the food looks amazing :)
Did you actually 'pack' an entire loaf of PB&J sandwiches in the bag? Because that's pure genius.
Thanks, it was a lot of fun! The first trip was through Big Sur, just as a weekend camping trip with no bikes; the second was a cycling/camping trip along Hwy 1/PCH, through Malibu and to Marina Del Rey and eventually to downtown LA. The wind wasn't an issue, but the hills were tough. And yes, I did actually pack the sandwiches back into the bread loaf packaging, with the slices all in order. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteI grew up about a half hour from big sur! What an awesome couple of adventures you have been up to- and the sandwich packing is brilliant.
